Another very clean, minimal-looking real estate theme by Themeshift (sister theme: deCasa) best suited for a real estate agency or an individual broker.

Like deCasa, it also covers all of the basics, include property categorization and search (though by one criteria or keyword only), photo galleries for listings, and a nicely laid out listing page. The difference is probably more in aesthetic, with cleanly delineated areas for copy and so forth makes this theme appropriate for the high-end type properties, or vacation-type properties.

Other minor differences between the two are the listing level pages — in this case, deCondo includes google maps, agent information and a prominent photo. Missing on this page would be more prominent call to action.

The theme does a good job of putting the focus on photos, without lots of bells and whistles cluttering up the design.

Would like to see a bigger call-to-action on the listing level pages (i.e. Contact us now to see this listing), though that can be easily remedied. Similarly, a generic contact form would be welcome.

AgentPress is a child theme designed for real estate agents and brokers. It features property listings while maintaining blog functionality. Nice features include breadcrumbs (links at the top, showing where you are), and logical, well-designed property listing pages. The homepage slider is also nicely designed, with a rotating slider with caption.

Cons include single-criteria search, which is pretty critical in real estate searches. Photos also seem a touch slow to load. However, in other respects this theme gets the job done.

Homeowner Real Estate is a functional real estate theme similar to Main Street, another theme from the same developers, with a few small differences: the layout of the listing pages are a little more grid-like, with more emphasis placed on photos. Also, the theme supports a blog in addition to the real estate listings. Like Main Street, this theme supports agent-specific pages (with relevant listings).

A different take from the rest of the CMS-style Revolution series Wordpress themes. A no-frills take on using Wordpress to run a small scale real estate site. A main well highlights three listings at once. Would be nice to get some Google Maps integration as well as thumbnails, but this pretty much has what you need to get going.

Nice touches: the presence of the contact form throughout the site, separate blog as well as the photo — seems to be a must for those in the real estate business! Color schemes include blue, gray, tan and light blue/gray combo.

The latest flavor of the Revolution series from Brian Gardner, this theme is a good solution for an out-of-the-box city-style portal.

Page-based-navigation as well as a secondary tier of category-based-navigation make this a solid CMS-style theme. Like the other Revolution themes, nice features include prominent site search and RSS/newsletter subscription call out. Also like all Revolution themes, it comes with a companion forum theme, which is definitely a nice touch.

Assuming you don’t want to modify anything, the theme comes with a light blue color scheme or a light grey color scheme.
